Our farm is located in Green Mountain, NC, about an hour north of Asheville. Our growing methods incorporate no-till, organic, permaculture, polyculture and dry farming methods. All work is done with hand tools. We specialize in year round specialty green mixes along with other vegetables like snap peas, summer squash, cucumbers, green beans, okra, heirloom tomatoes, eggplant, radishes, carrots and shishito peppers.
This is our third year and we are still gradually expanding one shovel full at a time. Last year we sold our produce at the Yancey County Farmers Market in Burnsville and the Weaverville Tailgate Market along with restaurant sales through the wholesaler Mountain Foods in Asheville, but due to the covid-19 virus we are having to alter our plans and are working on how to provide direct sales to customers in our region.
